Nagercoil begins vital polio drive for under-5s, prioritizing community health.

In the municipal areas of Nagercoil, an ongoing vaccination campaign is administering polio drops to children up to the age of 5. The initiative was officially launched by the Mayor of the municipality, Mr. R. Mahesh, alongside the Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Nishanth Krishna I.A.S.

The event witnessed the involvement of the Deputy Mayor, members of the Municipal Council, and municipal authorities. Furthermore, representatives from the legislative assembly were also in attendance.

Moreover, municipal authorities have declared their commitment to providing polio drops to all children aged 5 and under directly at their residences. This program is a part of the municipality’s dedicated efforts to ensure the health and well-being of young children within the comfort of their homes.
