Today, there was an event at Nagercoil Municipal Corporation where non-recyclable plastics from the Valampurivilai landfill were sent to a private cement plant. District Collector Mr. Sreedhar IAS flagged off the vehicle carrying these plastics.

Mr. Mahesh and Mr. Anand Mohan IAS, the Mayor and Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, spearheaded a drive to remove garbage using the bio-mining method. The event was attended by Ms. Agustina Kogilavani, Regional President, and other corporate officers.
